Examples from the Gospel

The Wedding at Canaan

Jesus' miracle at this wedding was a proclamation fo his divinity. He wanted this spiritual message to be part of the secular world, or he would not have executed such an event in public. His miracle helped support the success of a social gathering, implanting divine or religious actions into the society. Jesus did not seperate society and religion or politics and religion, he combined them.

  1. I completely agree with what my girl X-TINA is saying. In many chapters the issue of status, politics and religion keep coming up and at the Wedding at Canaan Jesus does not even have a second thought on any of those issues. Jesus does not even consider status of anyone, to him everyone is equal and placement means nothing. Jesus tried to convey that by turning the water into wine and showing people that he was capable of doing such things.
